Saturday Morning Update is a weekly series where I talk about my adventures in geek life from the previous week. Read on to find out a little bit more about what I did this week, including what I’ve been watching, reading, and playing.
This week I was mostly recovering from the exhausting and not that fun experiance that was Tekko 2018. You can read about that here. I did get this awesome chocolate covered rice crispy treat, so it wasn't all bad. We've finally started getting some nice weather, we'll see how long that lasts though.
CURRENTLY WATCHING
Picking up Blue Exorcist after watching the first episode a few months ago. I decided to watch the ending instead of skipping to the next episode and low and behold there was like a five minute end credits scene with a bunch of plot development. What the hell?
CURRENTLY READING
Started reading The Boy Who Went Magic, an upcoming middle-grade fantasy novel from Scholastic that comes out on April 24. I'll try to have a review of it this coming week.
CURRENTLY PLAYING
I did it! I defeated Calamity Gannon! No spoilers for this game that came out a year ago, but I kinda just wanted to scope out the castle after freeing all of the Divine Beasts and collecting most of the memories and then I accidentally stumbled upon the final battle and just went for it. I've heard it's super easy though and only had some troubles since I didn't stock up on the right supplies. Not sure if I'm going to pick it back up right away or play something new for a while. Any suggestions?
