Saturday Morning Update #97

The first week of the last month of the decade is over. I have thought about doing some "Best of the Decade" posts since this is probably the only time in my blogging career I'll ever get a chance to do one, but when I think about it haven't read, played, or seen enough stuff to justify doing one. I still might though?

This week I stayed in working on some blog stuff and playing video games. Mostly Fallout 4, little bit of Cat Quest, and a little bit of a game I don't like at all but that's life sometimes. To say this week has been uneventful would be an understatement.

Here's some cool links to some cool things:

Stop Skeletons From Fighting released a video on Secrets of the DS GBA Slot, focusing on the weird peripherals you could stick into the original DS.

Live on Kickstarter is A King's Vengeance, a Steampunk, medieval, fantasy, adventure, and violent revenge story inspired by Conan The Barbarian, Robocop, and, Hellboy.

Patrick Lee writes about the Problem Open-World Games Don’t Admit They Have for the Escapist, taking a look at the time spent traveling between dungeons and quests.

There's an indie game where you fly into gigantic space aliens and fight their diseases. It's called Blubber Busters and who says everything's been done?

Now through New Years, pay what you want on digital Vault Comics trades and 50% of the proceeds will go to a non-profit of your choice.
