Saturday Morning Update is a weekly series where I talk about my adventures in geek life from the previous week. Read on to find out a little bit more about what I did this week, including what I’ve been watching, reading, and playing.

CURRENTLY WATCHING
Yesterday we got the release of the final season of Trollhunters and it was... okay. It felt rushed, as if they had way too much going on and tried to use way too many characters. After finally meeting the Big Bad at the end of the previous season we're introduced to a Bigger Bad and resurrect another one too? And there were a lot of goofy filler moments that really through off the pacing with the apocalypse only days away. They also sorta set up the new spin-off series but... they also didn't. It was kinda a clunky mess. But there was a lot of gold in it nonetheless. I really am going to miss all of these characters and can't wait to see how they play into the follow ups.
CURRENTLY READING
Still reading Aru Shah and oh my god. People who think Disney is forcing too much comedy into Marvel and Star Wars movies just haven't read their books. Every page has some weird attempt at humor and I'm not sure who it's for. Sometimes they're quoting that horrible song from Frozen and sometimes there is a reference to The Matrix. There's even a reference to John McClane's catchphrase from Die Hard. In a children's book. But I'm at the point of no return now and might as well see it to the end.
CURRENTLY PLAYING
Played more Undertale, still just solving one puzzle after the next. That's pretty much it.
