Phew, the last Saturday Morning Update of 2017! Every single week for the last year I have had at least one unedited stream of conscious paragraph posted on the blog about what I've been up to in the past week. Usually these updates get no views. One of them is in my Top 10 posts ever, which is weird.
This week: What I got for Christmas. As you'll see in the photo above I got a Super Mario and Steven Universe t-shirt from my boss, two Digimon plushies from Jay at Morphin Legacy, and Slytherin pajama pants and Felicia Day's memoir from my lovely wife Katrina.
The Modern Gafa has been a thing, in some for or another, since 2008. But it wasn't until 2017, when I relaunched it as a personal blog, that it became my most rewarding and fulfilling project ever. Thanks for coming along on this journey with me!
It's so easy to be negative in 2017. It hasn't been the best year for anyone. However, when I look around at all the opportunities I've been given and all that I have accomplished, 2017 was probably one of the best years of my life. I can't wait to share 2018 with all of you.
