Saturday Morning Update #33

This week I watched Marvel's The Defenders on Netflix, played Agents of Mayhem and found it too glitchy to play, and read a really good book. Star Wars: Jedi Academy is a hilarious book written by Darth Vader and Sun author/illustrator Jeffrey Brown and published by Scholastic. It follows a Tattooine farmboy named Roan in his first year at the Jedi Academy, which is depicted here as a typical American middle school. There's bullies, questionable cafeteria food, school dances, physical education, and even multiple choice tests on how to use the force. It reminds me a lot of Captain Underpants or Diary of a Wimpy Kid. But it's about Star Wars so it's better by default. There are so many fun references to the Star Wars universe that I'm not sure I caught them all. I highly recommend this book for Star Wars fans of any age. Order the book for yourself here. While you're add it check out the rest of the trilogy by Jeffrey Brown and a new series by Jarrett J. Krosoczka.

Have a great week everyone!
