Wow, this is the 25th one of these? Cool cool... I wish I had more to talk about. Kennywood Comicon was awesome. We were planning to leave around 6 but got caught in the rain and after going on one last ride we heard they were closing early and gave out rain checks. So 3 of us got in at a discounted rate and left with 4 full price tickets because they were closing at the time we were gonna leave anyway!
One of the things I picked up from the comic vendors at Kennywood Comicon was Ms. Marvel: Best of the Best. Taking place between House of M and Civil War, Best of the Best sees Carol Danvers on an identity crisis that sees her investing in the best superhero publicist around while getting caught up in battle with an alien invasion and a battle with a reality warping time traveling wizard. Best of the Best has some cool action and hilarious references to pretty much every big shot in the Marvel Universe. Definitely recommended reading.
I also got Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories for the PS2. I'm kinda sick of Kingdom Hearts II so I was glad to pick up a game that basically mixes assets from the first game with some characters from the second game and a new battle system. If you love Kingdom Hearts, you've probably already played this. It's the same game as the GBA original interquel, but in full 3D. It feels a LOT more like "just the original game" than I thought. It's nice seeing animation and graphics and sounds from the first Kingdom Hearts, but with the simplistic gameplay of Chain of Memories it kinda leaves much to be desired. It's main thing is the battle system which is way better than the GBA version, but kinda ehh. PS4 users can play it on the HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX that comes with all of the main Kingdom Hearts games.
Here's to another week! Have a good one!
