Saturday Morning Update #81

Saturday Morning Update is a weekly series where I talk about my adventures in geek life from the previous week. Read on to find out a little bit more about what I did this past week.

My nephew was visiting us the past two weeks. He's the one I wrote about getting into Digimon here. I introduced him to Digimon World, which he was super excited about, but he wasn't really feeling it and quit after like 10 minutes. He did pick up Next Order though and loves that. Whatever gets him into Digimon I guess? He also watched Data Squad a lot. It's the only series he hasn't seen because it isn't available to stream anywhere. He loves that too. Zach, little my brother-in-law, also got into Data Squad. That's awesome since he never really got into Adventure. I gotta say though... as glad as I am to have introduced my favorite thing to these two... listening to kids talk about Digimon is actually super annoying.

We took my nephew to a few Pittsburgh places to see, including the Carnegie Science Center. Because Pittsburgh is big on robots they have a huge robot exhibit which includes the most famous robots in pop culture. Picture above is me with Artoo and Threepio. They also have HAL from 2001, the Iron Giant, and more!

Taking care of two kids was a super fun nightmare but I would do it again in a heartbeat!
